Weekly Wrap Up 001
Hello, Hello!! How are YOU?? How have you been?? Been wanting to start these "Weekly WrapUp" posts for quite some time. I like the idea of these...sharing little snippets from our week...blurbs from our days...thoughts that randomly show up in a particular moment...adventures we are currently taking...projects we are working on...happenings on the homestead...just kinda a smorgasbord of the shenanigans that go on around here!! A lot of the times there will be pictures, but not always. Sometimes, I may even shake things up and have a picture, but no words!!
I'm thinking from Wednesday to Tuesday will be a good time frame....that will then give me thru Thursdays to edit & make sure everything is ready to post on Fridays!! This week's post will be short, since I'm starting mid-range, but that's OK!!
Start where you are, right!?!? I hope you enjoy!! Be sure to comment below to say "Hello", and let me know you stopped by!! Suggestions are ALWAYS welcomed...but, please be kind!! <3
Looking forward to starting up some conversations!! <3 <3 <3
Getting Caught Up...
Chinese plus a quiet little spot at the nearby State Park makes for a
perfect evening out with the Hubby!!
This is a new weekly thing for us that is taking shape!!
We get ourselves a LARGE sweet 'n sour chicken meal, pork fried rice, & two egg rolls and split it. I bring the drinks, plates, forks, etc. $15 for a very wonderful little date night for the two of us!
There is this swing right in front of the overlook to the lake.
If you know me, you know I love swinging in swings & rocking in rocking chairs!!
Especially next to such a handsome guy!!
This was our view from the swing!! It was such a fabulous evening!! After a pretty warm day, it cooled off! Thankfully!!
Thanks to Beelistic, Liam got his ear pierced this past weekend! He's been wanting his 2nd ear pierced and these particular earrings for awhile. Been saving his pennies he's been making at his job...and finally had enough to go and get it done!!
Frost drove...I do NOT do downtown driving...plus,
he's been there multiple times before!
Liam is VERY happy...although, just a little sore still from his new piercing!
Monday... Mondays always seem like I start off the week behind...it is a feeling that is amplified after my Husband has been home for a few days!! This time-off gave us a wonderful 10 days together, which I am so very thankful for!! I love when he is at home!! Miss him SO much when he is gone.
Still trying to find a good routine for myself, for the dogs, for the boys, for working on my homeschool group, for working on our blog, for keeping up with the house, for just life in general!! I struggle quite a bit with this...always have. I'm most definitely NOT a "structure" kinda girl, but I fear that it would be helpful to bring some structure of sorts into our days. Now to try and find out where the best place for us to start making some changes??
Started on my messy kitchen today...deep sigh. I feel like it ALWAYS looks like this. Deep sigh. Like I'm fighting against an unmovable force to try and get it to even look like only ONE tornado went thru!! Don't mind the big hole in the linoleum there...
it is on the list of "projects to do"!!
Deep Sigh.
Tuesday...
My days never really feel long enough to fit everything in. I have such a long list of *NEED to dos*, *SHOULD be doings*, & *WANT to dos* that it is ridiculous!!
Deep sigh. And, of course, I want to be able to do it ALL...but, that is just not a reality. It is, however, something that I definitely need to think on, focus on, & figure out a solution so I can somehow create productive days for myself!!
Filled with things from all three categories!!
Danny brought dinner home from Lee's Famous Recipe {a local chicken place}!! It was yummy & filling, and best of all...I did NOT have to cook it!!
Always a win!!
THANKS FOR STOPPING BY
